Kepemimpinan Kristiani dan Moderasi Beragama: Kajian Teologis Matius 22:39 dalam Perspektif Filosofi Jawa "Tepa Selira"
Abstrak
This article examines Christian leadership as a theological contribution to religious moderation in Indonesia. This research constructs a theological framework from the dialogue between Matthew 22:39 ("Love your neighbor as yourself") and the Javanese cultural philosophy of tepa selira. Using theological hermeneutics and philosophical analysis, this article finds that empathetic leadership, integrating Christian agape with Tepa Selira's epistemology, can serve as a comprehensive model for moderate religious leadership. This leadership is characterized by incarnational presence, prophetic listening, bridging authority, and transformative humility. Theological implications show that contextual Christian leadership is not only relevant for Christian communities but also makes significant contributions to Indonesia's pluralistic life through a genuine and empathetic model of moderation.
Abstrak
Artikel ini mengkaji kepemimpinan Kristiani sebagai kontribusi teologis bagi moderasi beragama di Indonesia. Penelitian ini membangun konstruksi teologis dari dialog antara Matius 22:39 ("Kasihilah sesamamu seperti dirimu sendiri") dan filosofi budaya tepa selira Jawa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutika teologis dan analisis filosofis, artikel ini menemukan bahwa kepemimpinan empatik, yang mengintegrasikan agape Kristiani dengan epistemologi tepa selira, dapat menjadi model komprehensif bagi kepemimpinan moderasi beragama. Kepemimpinan ini bercirikan kehadiran inkarnasional, pendengaran profetik, otoritas penjembatan, dan kerendahan hati yang transformatif. Implikasi teologis menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan Kristiani kontekstual bukan hanya relevan bagi komunitas Kristiani, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi kehidupan plural di Indonesia melalui model moderasi yang autentik dan empatik.
