Rekonstruksi Teologi Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam Konteks Generasi Digital: Integrasi Spiritualitas, Teknologi, dan Formasi Karakter

Abstrak

This article explores the need to reconstruct Christian Religious Education (CRE) theology for the digital generation by integrating spirituality, technology, and character formation. The rapid development of digital culture has produced new learning patterns that are highly visual, interactive, and fast at processing information, requiring an approach to CRE that moves beyond the delivery of traditional cognitive content. This article argues that the reconstruction of CRE theology must be grounded in theological foundations such as Imago Dei, the incarnation, and the faith community, ensuring that digital education continues to uphold human dignity, the embodiment of faith, and the formation of a spiritual community. Digital spirituality, therefore, is understood not merely as transferring spiritual disciplines into virtual spaces but as an incarnational expression of faith lived through technology. Furthermore, this article proposes a model for integrating technology into Christian pedagogy through normative-theological frameworks, technological hermeneutics, transformative pedagogical design, and spiritual-formational assessment. Overall, this study demonstrates that reconstructing digital CRE requires not only innovative learning strategies but also theological reflection that preserves the essence of Christian faith and character.

Abstrak

Artikel ini mengkaji kebutuhan rekonstruksi Teologi Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) dalam konteks generasi digital melalui integrasi spiritualitas, teknologi, dan formasi karakter. Perubahan budaya digital telah melahirkan pola belajar baru yang sangat visual, interaktif, serta cepat dalam menerima informasi, sehingga menuntut pendekatan PAK yang tidak semata berorientasi pada penyampaian materi kognitif tradisional. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa rekonstruksi teologi PAK harus berpijak pada landasan teologis seperti Imago Dei, inkarnasi, serta komunitas iman, agar proses pendidikan digital tetap memelihara martabat manusia, embodiment iman, dan formasi komunitas rohani. Di sisi lain, spiritualitas digital dipahami bukan hanya sebagai pemindahan disiplin rohani ke ruang virtual, tetapi juga sebagai bentuk inkarnasionalitas iman yang dihidupi melalui teknologi. Artikel ini juga menawarkan model integrasi teknologi dalam pedagogi Kristen melalui kerangka normatif-teologis, hermeneutika teknologi, desain pedagogis transformatif, dan penilaian spiritual-formasional. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa rekonstruksi PAK digital tidak hanya menuntut inovasi pembelajaran, tetapi juga pemaknaan teologis yang menjaga esensi iman dan karakter Kristiani.
